Our mission is to make the benefits of a comprehensive understanding of the visual process broadly available to change lives.

How do we do this? We follow the Advice Process:

The Advice Process: A Decision's Journey

Imagine a workplace where any employee can make any decision. No managers approving it. No committees voting on it.

This is the Advice Process, popularized by Frederic Laloux in Reinventing Organizations.

Here is the story of how a decision travels from a simple spark to reality:

  • The Spark (The Problem): An employee notices a problem or an opportunity. They decide to own it.

  • The Gathering (Seeking Advice): The employee must consult two groups: people with expertise, and people affected by the decision.

  • The Crucible (Listening): The employee listens to all perspectives. They do not need to please everyone, but they must weigh all input honestly.

  • The Action (The Choice): The employee makes the final call alone. They hold full accountability for the outcome.

  • The Echo (The Impact): The decision is shared throughout the organization. The team learns from its success or failure together.

Why It Works

  • Speed: No bureaucratic bottlenecks or slow approvals.

  • Growth: Employees gain deep accountability and leadership skills.

  • Trust: It removes veto power; no boss can block the decision.
