videos from our history

Bruce Wolff - from a seminar put on in the office of Paul Harris in the 1980’s.

Dr. Bruce Wolff speaking to a group of optometrists in Dr. Harris’ office in Timonium MD in the 1980's. The video quality is poor, but it is a chance to see Bruce in action. He did two 2-day presentations a year apart and there was meat in every moment.

This video is from a presentation given by the late Steve Cool, PhD during his tenure at Pacific College of Optometry. He was a dynamic presenter who had a strong message that clinicians were always out in front of the scientists, who brought up the rear finding out the WHY behind what clinicians did. This presentation was part of the JCTCO and took place in the late 1980’s or early 1990’s..

Dr. Getman was a pioneer in the understanding of vision development, one aspect of which is the development of refraction conditions. Once such condition is astigmatism. In this video he discusses astigmatism from the perspective of a case. This video stops before he actually finishes as the master video tape was unreadable from that point forward. Enjoy.
